And today, we’re kicking off our brand‑new blog series, Meet the Pawsitively Delicious Pack, with the one girl who absolutely insists on being first: Ms. Nanook—though around here, she prefers her nickname, Nookie.

🐾 The Matriarch (But Don’t Tell Her That)

Nookie strutted into our lives three years ago and immediately claimed the role of “household jester.” She may be the last to join our family, but she’s the oldest at 8 years young—and trust me, she puts heavy emphasis on the young.

She’s a gorgeous Siberian Husky tripod, and if you think missing a leg slows her down, think again. This girl moves like she’s powered by espresso and pure mischief. Senior status? She refuses the title. Loudly.

🎤 Big Sass, Bigger Personality

Nookie is the reigning queen of Husky sass. If you make eye contact for more than half a second, she’ll give you a smile so big it feels like a hug… followed immediately by a dramatic “talkback” monologue about whatever she thinks you need to improve.

Her favorite partner in crime? Roxy, our "littlest" pack member. Together, they form a chaotic duo that could easily star in their own sitcom. They gossip. They scheme. They hold secret meetings. They absolutely think they run this household—and honestly, they might some days

Nookie is one of our three Saving Grace alumni, and she carries that rescue magic everywhere she goes. There’s something about rescue dogs—the gratitude, the softness, the way they fill a home with warmth—and Nookie embodies all of it. She’s a reminder of why we do what we do: creating treats that honor the joy, resilience, and individuality of dogs like her.
